Maserati and Marchesi Antinori—two icons of Italian craftsmanship—have unveiled the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato, a masterpiece born from the encounter between Maserati’s artistry in automotive design and Il Bruciato’s legacy of winemaking in Bolgheri. This limited-edition collaboration embodies the essence of Italian know-how, where passion, heritage, and innovation converge.

A Symphony of Design and Heritage
The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato emerges from Maserati’s Fuoriserie Personalisation Programme, a bespoke atelier for those who demand individuality at the highest level. The project pays homage to Bolgheri, Tuscany—a land defined by its light, scents, and the poetic rhythm of the vineyards. Il Bruciato, created by the Antinori family in 2002, symbolizes that spirit: complex, harmonious, and deeply tied to its terroir.
The collaboration’s mantra, “Driving the essence of Italian living,” encapsulates its soul—an invitation to savor life with elegance, taste, and passion.
A Design Inspired by the Harvest
From its first glance, the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato captures the eye with Alchimia Scarlatta, a captivating paint shade inspired by the deep red hue of wine swirling in a glass. Developed with a unique Chromaflair pigment, the color transforms under changing light, revealing notes of burgundy, copper gold, and dark raspberry—a living, breathing finish that mirrors the vitality of Il Bruciato itself.
Completing the exterior are Pegaso Forgiati or Crio Fuoriserie 21-inch wheels, paired with black brake calipers and subtle Fuoriserie badging on the front fenders. The result is a stance both muscular and graceful—quintessentially Maserati.
The Interior: Crafted for the Senses

Inside, the cabin is a sanctuary of Italian luxury. Tan and Dark Red leather adorns the seats, detailed with tone-on-tone stitching and distinctive “cannelloni” ribbed patterns. The Trident logo, embroidered in deep red on each headrest, stands as a testament to meticulous craftsmanship.
The sensory experience continues with a 14-speaker Sonus faber premium audio system and a panoramic sunroof—inviting passengers to feel the same harmony and depth as one finds in a glass of fine Bolgheri wine.
A Tribute to Italian Know-How
Giovanni Perosino, Maserati’s Chief Marketing and Communication Officer, describes the project as “an expression of the Maserati Fuoriserie programme, where tradition, innovation, and artistry meet to create cars that transcend utility—each curve telling a story, every drive becoming an experience.”
Renzo Cotarella, CEO of Marchesi Antinori, reflects on the collaboration’s philosophy: “As with a great wine, what defines a great car is not only technical perfection but the ability to make the everyday exceptional. The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is a tribute to that essence—and to the land of Bolgheri.”

The Legacy of Il Bruciato

Created at the Guado al Tasso Estate, Il Bruciato was first produced in 2002 as a modern expression of Bolgheri’s unique terroir. The region’s alluvial soils and amphitheater-like geography create a distinct microclimate—cooled by sea breezes and shaded by Tuscan hills—that gives the wine its characteristic depth and aroma.
The estate’s cellar, designed by architect Fiorenzo Valbonesi (ASV3 Officina di Architettura), blends titanium-zinc modernism with natural light and sustainability—reflecting the same balance of innovation and heritage found in Maserati’s own design ethos.
Maserati’s Vision for the Future
Maserati continues to redefine Italian luxury through a lineup that spans the Grecale SUV, GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and MC20 supercars—each available with cutting-edge hybrid or fully electric powertrains under the Folgore nameplate. The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato joins this lineage as a collector’s edition, representing the purest form of Made in Italy artistry.
A toast to the beauty of Bolgheri, the spirit of Il Bruciato, and the innovation of Maserati—where every journey becomes a work of art
