Aston Martin has elevated its acclaimed DB12 into a more visceral halo with the arrival of the DB12 S. Honoring a storied ‘S’ lineage dating back to the DB3S of 1953, this newest Super Tourer fuses intensified performance with ultra-luxury craft, preserving long-legged grand-touring ease while unlocking a sharper dynamic edge.

At its core lies a more potent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8: 700PS at 6000 rpm and 800Nm across a generous rev band deliver explosive response, relentless mid-range, and a 202 mph Vmax. Throttle mapping and launch parameters have been re-engineered for a 0–60 mph sprint of 3.4 seconds, with shift times slashed by more than fifty percent.

The soundtrack has been curated for depth and presence. The stainless-steel system accentuates engine frequencies across the rev range; the optional titanium setup raises the aural theater by 1.5 dB while reducing weight for keener response.
Chassis tuning targets precision and connection. Revised Bilstein DTX damper software, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, and finessed camber, toe, and caster settings bolster roll and pitch control while adding front-end bite. Steering calibration and the E-diff deliver purer feedback and earlier throttle commitment from apex—confidence you can lean on.

Aston Martin’s next-gen Corner Braking Control integrates brake slip and vehicle control modules. The predictive logic maintains stability under trail-braking and applies torque vectoring across the rear axle for cleaner rotation and a tighter line from entry to apex—on back roads, highway ramps, or a racetrack.
Stopping power is emphatically up to the task. Carbon Ceramic Brakes are now standard—410 mm front and 360 mm rear—raising thermal capacity, resisting fade, and cutting 27 kg of unsprung mass. Benefits cascade through the experience: more consistent pedal feel, cleaner steering detail, and tangible improvements in ride-handling sophistication.

The exterior tells the story of function and theater. A dual-element front splitter visually lowers and widens the car while managing airflow; bonnet louvres in gloss black or optional 2×2 twill carbon extract heat from the hot-V layout. At the rear, a fixed spoiler and re-sculpted diffuser calm lift and frame the stacked pairs of exhaust finishers for maximum visual intent.

Inside, tactility meets theater. The red-anodized drive-mode controller becomes a focal jewel, echoed by seatbelt, stitching, and embroidery accents unique to the S. Three trim environments invite personalization: Accelerate leather and Alcantara; Inspire S semi-aniline leather with Alcantara; or Inspire S Full Semi-Aniline. Standard 16-way Sport Plus seats balance long-distance comfort with lateral support; the optional Carbon Fibre Performance seat adds sculptural minimalism for the purist.

Offered in both Coupe and Volante forms, the DB12 S extends the Super Tourer blueprint into rare air—where agility, hand-finished luxury, and effortless pace converge. It is a car that speaks in proportion and detail, designed to be driven hard and admired slowly.

Availability: The Aston Martin DB12 S is available to order now, with deliveries commencing Q1 2026. For collectors and connoisseurs of British performance design, this is the one that sets the tone—power sharpened, presence amplified, luxury intensified.
